Ce type de masque intervenait dans un contexte funéraire
concernant de hauts dignitaires. À cô té du masque munjinga
Tuali¿ p de masFulin, il existait pgalement le tshimwana considéré
comme féminin.

Th is type of mask played a role in th e funerals of dignitaries.
In addition to th is presumably male mask, munjinga, th ere was
also a mask, tshimwana, considered to b e female.
