From September 9–14, the Saint-Germain-des- Prés neighborhood will again be alive with this celebration of the tribal arts. The words that come to mind to describe the event include “excellence” and “rigor”—standards that have always been the event’s hallmarks and to which its participants strive to adhere. This year, thirty-six thematic exhibitions will be presented, sixty-nine dealers will participate, and new disciplines—classical archaeology, in particular—will be represented. Diversity will be central to this year’s event, and the Parcours des Mondes will deserve the plural in its title even more than it has before.
