Explorers Club 161 Herbert Lang (1879–1957) was a Germanborn zoologist at the American Museum of Natural History who led the museum’s 1909–1915 expedition to the Congo. He is known for his excellent wildlife and anthropological photography in the region. He became a club member in 1907.
